Granny's gone and done it again

Geezers Cap, I'll have to measure the area later on tonight and let you know. I'm guessing somewhere around 48 inches. I'm thinking making two beds, end to end then a spare for the 5th dog. They can fight it out for who gets which bed and probably will, knowing them.

Im ok yall, I have been called retard today and a few other choice words. I had one more small spell then it went away. My Nancy took me to dinner.

Wait, wot, who? called our Granny a retard? Tell them the chicken crew is gonna kick their butt!

Thanks guys. I think maybe the frizzles are not as strong as the normally feathered birds. I kept one frizzled chick, sure hope it's a girl. Maybe have sold some too, I have a hard time telling until they are a few weeks old.
Going to be really busy tomorrow. Have to do regular chores and load the truck for the swap Saturday in Rice, VA.

Lord Bless Me, I'm nutz! Went out and collected the 3 cleanest eggs in each nest.. 3 from SP, and 3 from Maggie. I marked them with a pink sharpie, H for Henri's babies, and B for Bruiser's babies. and only had to spot clean one egg.. So in the bator they went..
I used a pink sharpie cause I want them all to be girls... hopefully........ ha ha ha.
I notice Maggie's eggs are darker than SP's eggs by a few shades.
One thing I noticed this morning when cooking up some of Maggie's eggs was the yolks are much darker than store bought eggs. Is that because they are tan colored eggs?

Yolks color varies by diet as far as I can tell. Dark means they had lots of bugs or other protein, Yellow means not as good a diet.

Oh, and on top of working on a hen house, I got most of the grass/hay raked up in the back yard. I got 3 huge wheel barrows full and over flowing.. It's in tubs in the shed and in a few days I'll pack it in plastic bags for storage... I should have enough to get me through the winter when the grass doesn't grow much. And it smells so good.. love using it in the hen houses.

They had wet layer pellets/cottage cheese mix for a treat this afternoon. Everybody thought that was great!
