Granny's gone and done it again

That is about all that you can do with chronic pain. Stay a step ahead of it. We were taught in training that it is better to control pain before it settles in. Pain responds better if you treat it sooner rather than later.

Sorry to hear that you are still having pain from that. I'm sure I either have that going on with my right side of my jaw or osteo. Don't think I want to know which it is.
At least TMJ can go away.

Parakeet update! I have been checking the county shelter lost and found, also craigslist. No lost bird signs around. My neighbor checked the Next Door neighborhood community boards (which hermits like me avoid) and she found nothing but posts about FOUND parakeets, please call!
So, after a week I think due diligence has been satisfied and we are keeping the parakeet. Lupin is happy!View attachment 2320696
She will be called Lark.
Yay! Glad you get to keep her!

they like the heat Wishing. Good news on the keet ! I was looking at them at the pet store. I sure do miss my birds.
Of course #1 is hoping they produce some babies. Out of interest, I read about the color genetics of parakeets. Very interesting. She is a Double Dominant Pied White. Lupin is a White (blue) with one dark factor, making him cobalt blue instead of sky blue, and he also has a violet factor, making him purple-ish, including his feet. Info said the only color you can actually see the violet expressed is in a cobalt bird. Anyway, if they did manage to hatch some eggs, the babies would all be white-blues of some sort. No chance of yellow based birds since that is dominant.

I used to raise a lot of parakeets years ago in Canada.

so rumor has it that Rod and son are closing on a house next week BUT their offer was just accepted so "something is rotten in Denmark"

Vickie HATES her apartment and has spent the last 18 hours crying and freaking out. Evidently she is going to see if she can get out of her lease. She claims to hate drama but it follows her around like Pigpen's dirt cloud (Peanuts character)
