it started a LOVEY just LOVELY drizzley/soaking rain Monday morning about 3 am and finished about 5 pm. Got about an INCE and a QUARTER !!!!!

Then frost last night temp got to 30*

High today was the 50's and low tonight 28 or 29. Then back to upper 60's and lower 70's the rest of the week

time to dig the taters ?

was out to the farm today. Granny and Twisty are STILL LARGE AND IN CHARGE although Twisty seems to have dropped way low in the belly.

Got the stock tank cracks sealed with first coat of flexseal.

Then got the area by the oats bins all cleaned up and mowed down with a 2 wheeled mower/trimmer worked all the way down past chicken run and the main calf paddock.

Then loaded Curly up and into the VETS . She got a pencillin shot, some other type of shot , and a copper/multi-vitiamin shot and an extra shot of pen to be given on thrus. Poor thing is/was not doing well, she has a bit of foot rot in her right front one right between her to toes. Also bloody stools of which she gifted the vet with a sample.

Vines are still green BUT soon.

Will be hauling oats next Monday or Tuesday.

its not fleas here. The other dogs would of had them . I simply OD him on that med.

I know that. I was thinking maybe Bactine or something with lidocaine might help your beastie.

Whats wrong w/ her besides her foot ?

Vickie cleaned the one side of the oats bin while Rod and I took curly in to the vet.

HE did all of that for under 90 bucks. She didn't not want to load into the trailer either way. BUT with 3 people pushing , pulling and lifting her front feet we got her in .

not sure Vet though maybe pnumomia (sp) BUT heart and lungs are GOOD no Temp.
