Granny's gone and done it again

What do you put on your oatmeal to make it palatable? I like mine with a little real maple syrup, pecans, chopped dates or raisins, chopped bananas, and milk.
Crunchy peanut butter, banana, bit of brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Super goop! I love chewy oatmeal. :D Like eating cookies.
Guess I will have to change my recipe after this diet had done its job. No sugar, which you don't really need if the banana is nice and ripe, and milk substitute of some sort. There's a lot of sugar in milk.

There is a sugar substitute you can use in your baking. Goes by the name of Swerve. It's erythritol. It's the closest to sugar in taste and amounts you use for a recipe. The erythritol never enters your blood stream, so it doesn't raise blood glucose levels. Downside is it's $$$.

Ooh, peanut butter! :love Will definitely have to try that! Combined with the oats, you now have a complete protein. Okay, I know what I'm having for b'fast tomorrow! Thanks!
