I did get a close up of Twisty while her head was buried in the lick tub and I was moving bale feeders and cleaning out where they sat last year.

She is starting to "bag up" and the hoo haw looked a little swollen.

I thought the same thing when cleaning out the brooder tonight.. I spend money for chick feed just to use it for fertilizer!

upon further inspection it can't be as white ear tag is a heifer. As Granola had a bull.

try 100 plus hens and then 50+ in the brooder room and maternity yard (outside)

As long as you have shade even a "loafing barn" and a pond so they and soak their feet. Very well.
