there is an elevator in the base where the museum is--only 2 or 3 floors the rest is single person stairway all the way up to crown and then down the other side. You can't go up the arm anymore.. impressive from the boat as well

yes in the pedestal she is standing on--it's about how it was made and shipped over here from France. Did you know that American schoolkids gave their pennies to fund making the pedestal?

no, but I do remember being in school and them collecting pennies from us I thought for her repair ? Was that what my 10 cents went to? Hahahaaa Thats pretty cool to know. Do you know the year that was ?

I would of never thought of that again in a million years teach. Thank you. Makes it special . Trying to remember what grade I was in. Young I know so very late 60s- late 70s?
