those arent bamboo . I wish I had a pr of bamboo. they wouldnt splinter. Thats hard wood. I think those must of been pine.

If you scrape them together, they will work fine. Never got a splinter from one yet and they grip the food better. Have peeled splinters from the bamboo ones, but I still like those better than the lacquered or plastic ones.

I got some socks made from bamboo. Very soft and nice. They make lots of things from bamboo.
