the chain link is attached to the frame w. ties. He is pushing those off. The whole thing will need to be took down in order to fix it.

Bummer! Put up electric fence just inside it, at his chest height, about a foot away from the fence. Put Christmas lights along the electric fence so he can see it. Leave it hot for about a month. Then turn it off and just leave the lights on. After another month or two you can turn the lights off. He'll stay in.

the fence should be on the inside of the poles (more support) and what type of ties ??

I dont think I can describe it. I sure cant spell it. aluminum (hey I did ! ) ties and they only go half way around the frame with a bent hook over the fence AND its on the outside.
