Granny's gone and done it again

'98 Riviera. Supercharged V6, all the bells and whistles.
The one he got needs a little work, but it was priced a lot lower than the ones around here, and the biggest selling point was only 70k miles. They are kind of becoming collectible. The engines will go a long time if you keep up the maintenance. It will be his drive to work car.

Funny thing is, we stopped to get gas and people asked about the car. What was it? There is not a single Buick marking on it. Everything is R or Riviera.
Do any Buicks still have the three circular air vents on the front fenders anymore? Used to be a sure sign of being a Buick in the old days.

The expert is not sure, but he said it started with the Roadmaster, one designer put them in his personal car and it sort of caught on. Not sure if they are still using it on modern cars. Other than the '98, he never looks at anything newer than 70s era.
