huff, you mentioned your sister got married. I bet you miss her. I was the baby of 6 girls and I remember when my sister left home. I was super sad. Didnt know what to do w/ myself.

I remember that. I was a bridesmaid for my sister, but it was a shock to discover she wasn't coming home after the wedding! Life changed forever that day and I wasn't at all prepared for it! I think I was 13, and dumb as a rock.

I have, some people wear them with masks. I don't see how they can be very helpful. For Covid, I mean.

I guess what I meant was, we were told originally that the purpose of wearing a mask was to protect OTHERS. You know, to keep our germs to ourselves. The face shield, as you say, probably protects the wearer, but doesn't do much to keep their germs from escaping.

I can't imagine it protects you much either. If you wear the face shield with the mask it would probably give you another few percentage points of protection.
