That's so sad. It's always the young males on the fringes that get pushed into less than ideal territories. Sad thing is if they hadn't seen it, it probably would have gone on it's way with out a problem. Mtn lion attacks on people are very rare.

umm no, I dont remember. I think this was #6 or 7. The one before this one was the worst. Thats the one that robbed me.

Yes, the lion wasn't in a good spot. All their territory has been lost to big expensive Palo Alto homes. Not many places for the big cats to live any more.
