It's been very cold this past week, and I have been bringing my last 3 Seramas into the garage to spend the night. During the day, they've been going into a ground cage to get some sun since their coop is mostly in shade, especially this time of year.
Well, we finally got some rain today, so they had to spend the day in their coop. I was de-cobwebbing it (those spiders move in so fast!) and noticed something strange on the bottom side of their roost. Is that what I think it is? Yes, colonies of newly hatched red mites! Thank goodness the bitties had been sleeping safely in the garage! The coop will get a thorough soaking tomorrow to kill all those evil beasties. Think I will spray the mob's coop too. Couldn't find any there, but better safe than sorry. And just last week I said something about not having needed to spray for a couple of years. Jinxed myself.

I keep thinking I should invest in some of that elector psp stuff that the internet swears by....

so the "dogs" got me my Christmas gift early. A new meat saw. Still trying to put it all together AND figure out the wiring. NO real instructions and Everything in small pictures.

Youtube It's saved my duff many a times on many a thing. There should be some tutorials or unboxing or how to assemble or all of the above.

Well, the Goose is sleeping again....he's been rather mellow today. Another growth spurt? I should take advantage and get on dishes.

...really wish I could train hubs to do that. Well, at least I got all the dirty linens done from when Goose wet the bed....problem with those water saving front loading washing machines...they don't do as good a job on pee...so I end up washing every load twice. Sure, on big blankets like this a single one might do it, but I'd rather be safe than....smelling like pee. So my tomorrow projects will involve sweeping/mopping, folding and finding a home for said linens/blankets, and maybe spending some time with some filing stuff from work.

I have search the net some BUT so far no luck on assembling help. MORE searching in the near future.
