Granny's gone and done it again

Blue, cacti like poor dry well draining soil . Not miracle grow. No ferts. Just piss poor dirt and ignore it.
Im home and wore out ! I fixed Tom something to eat. Roberthad KFC and I am too tired to fix myself some food.

Granny! Please Please Please...EAT! Get a chicken leg from Robert and chew on it! Something, anything, a Peanut butter sandwich or cheese sandwich.

@BigBlueHen53 I attempted to do my own potting mix using our soil only I ran into a BIG problem with it that killed my Grande Champion Christmas Cactus 4 years ago. Turned out that there is some sort of fungus amongus in our soil that killed off all the roots on the cactus and two other plants that I transplanted into it. I won't try that again.

I did try to mix sand (we have a stream that runs through our property plus a big creek to our east so sand is no problem. Some of my plants are doing really well with the Miracle grow soil mixed with sand...just not that darned crown of thorns.

I think you meant to tag me? I didn’t use our soil, just a cheap bag of potting mix. I’m back up in the red clay part of the state.

My Snow White waffle plant has made a miraculous recovery, and my tradescantia zebrina is growing like crazy.

Probably, my duh. We have gray clay here. Totally useless stuff. We have to break up old pieces of dry wall and plant it along with our fruit trees. Plus we live on a ridge which here have notoriously crappy soil.
