Granny's gone and done it again

Nope. Boss even denied me an ambulance. It happened Dec. 6, 2010. And that is why I am disabled. IT messed up my life in many ways. Finally, he had one girl drop me off at an urgent care center. She walked me in, sat me down, and told the front desk. By the time the doctor saw me, he was livid. Called Speedway and told them they should have called an Ambulance and sent me to the hospital. According to him, I could have died. He ended up calling ambulance and the rest is history. All during that time, I was holding the back of my head, afraid to look at my hand, as it felt as if I was holding my brains, it was so tender and squishy there.

That is so scary! I'm glad you're ok!

I just gave myself a Covid haircut. Could not stand it another minute. Went outside (it's windy) and used the back storm door as a mirror. Hacked off about 2" off everywhere I could reach. Kids said they could not see a difference! 🤣 I had the GirlChild tidy up the back where I cannot reach. Feels MUCH better!

My husband has been cutting my hair and even waxing my eyebrows. Lol!!! Covid has revealed some interesting skills that he posseses. :lau

okay, but will never be exactly how I was.

I understand, I was injured at work and I suffer daily pain from it but because it was soft tissue damage they couldn't see it in the x-rays and sent me on my merry way. I have to monitor the now completely collapsed discs in my neck with MRIs to make sure I have enough spinal fluid getting to my brain. Some days I start forgetting even more than usual and I'm already flighty. They said it may lead to needed surgery eventually but they don't feel it will reduce the pain so they're only wanting to go in if it's life saving.

Yes, you have DDD right. I am so sorry it is that bad. Haven't had mine x-rayed since diagnosis. Only know I have lost 3 inches in height.

Of course there's no connection to my work injury as far as they're concerned because it took time to progress and I can't prove it even though the doctors said it's almost definitely due to that since I haven't had any other accidents.
