yuppers. No telling what was for dinner on any givin day. I remember being so hungry I went behind a fish and chips and found a barrel where they tossed their old oil and chips and fishing that out to eat.

Yeah. You can mix the sw cond milk with a can of pumpkin, add spices, and make a pumpkin pie. I don't remember if you bake it or not, but I do know that sweet cream thickens it. Hmm. Does it even need eggs? Don't remember.because I don't think you can actually whip it into whipped cream. To thick. AND WAY WAY WAY to sweet.
there was 6 of us girls and my SF worked his butt off but times were lean.I ate some weird sh-tuff growing up when money was tight but no road kill fortunately. My Mom was very creative and would do all sorts of things to make us feel like we had what all of the other kids had. She would draw on paper bags to look like McDonald's and called it MomDonalds, tictactoe on the bag, some kind of toy we'd forgotten about in the bag, lol. I never felt like I was left wanting even if we technically had less. I actually find those times really endearing and special when I look back on them now.
