It can brown in the bag. But if you want it crispy, you could open it a bit.

Life sucks at times. I just realized the last Thanksgiving I had with DH was 16 yrs ago. Last Thanksgiving I cooked was 9 yrs ago. No one to share one with.

Oh well. Life goes on. We find other things to enjoy.

Yes it does. It can look like it was baked any other way, but not be dried out at all.

My first Turkey I ever cooked alone, was right after I met my first husband. I invited him for thanksgiving. He got me drunker than a skunk with spiked eggnog. That turkey looked picture perfect. LOL. And that was before oven bags were invented. LOL.

He got me though. He was totally rambunctious while I was trying to work (and by rambunctious I mean chompy) so I grabbed him to throw him outside. Didn’t even realize he got me until I looked in the mirror later. Oops. Past time to trim his toes but it’s not a one person job...morning all! He let me sleep the night (almost - woke me up about 15 minutes before my alarm goes off)View attachment 2423305

Oh my Goddess, I have 7 males to cull. LOL Not CALL. I wouldn't want to be around 7 males at this point, mostly ones in this area. They have little if any common sense. LOL
