Does anyone remember, what it was like to get quarantine back in the '60's? Health department would actually come out to your house, post a big sign that said quarantine, and tell you what the family had to do.

I know it's super nerve wracking. Heck I was stressed out when my neighbors had it and I hadn't even been in physical contact with them. All I can say is that I've had multiple friends that were sent home as precautionary quarantine when exposed at work and so far none of them actually caught it.

My son in NM is currently on his 4th 14-day quarantine. His SO works in the health-care industry, I believe she is either an EMT on an ambulance or works in the ER of a major hospital, I can never remember which. Anyway, when she gets exposed they both get quarantined. Makes him crazy, he is a Type A worker in the construction trades. Not one to sit around for one whole day, much less 14.

I don't remember exactly why. Could have been German Measles or some such. I just remember it happening, and I was the one sick.
