I didn't know that. It was a good thread and I have enjoyed visiting it from time to time. I was over there the other day and there were a couple of folks really going at it. It went on several pages so I left. And now I hear they are still at it. That's too bad. It was a good thread. I'm sure that was never Cap's intent.

Tell me about your new chickens

I posted all I know about them. A few weeks ago, a woman was on the N.CA thread looking for a home for her 6 pullets. Someone wanted them, but I guess it fell through, so she came back last week and I decided to take them. She's done all the work, raising them from chicks. My old mob doesn't lay enough to satisfy my egg eating family, so it's a great deal for me. They will have their own coop and I will build a minicoop for my 3 displaced Seramas.
