Firewood! We walked through the woods last week and found that mother nature's hissy fit of about a week of high winds provided us with a lot of dead fall trees to harvest come spring for firewood.

We always love it when we don't have to fell the trees.

No baking here till Christmas week. We just start munching and don't stop till they are gone. This year, making a lot and freezing them. We eat a lot of granola bars. Want to get away from the processed sugar and eat our own added sugar....does that really make a difference or does it just sound better since it's not processed food?

There are some great sweetness that don’t cause insulin spikes. Like monk fruit, allulose. Not cheap but they really taste good. Sugar causes inflammation in my body.
