Twist. Do you use butter or shortening in your cookies?

BUTTER for everything but the Molasses I tried butter and then lard and then a mix BUT the only thing that "works" is Crisco.

wishing. you could buy canned chicken. cook the rice since thats not hard.

I can buy whole chickens for pretty cheap, under a dollar a pound on sale. Cheaper than canned, I think.

So many crappy foods out there. Beneful is one of the worst.

Well crap. I read through the ingredients. Seems about the same as all the others. What's so bad about it?

I tried him on some fancier stuff, like Blue, that was supposed to be better. He didn't like it and it really made his guts squelchy.

I have list of better kibbles. When you switched him over did you do it gradually?

I used to feed science diet. lamb and rice formula . They eat less got full faster and the best part they pooped less but with these mutts they get dog chow. Sometimes I switch it from beef to chicken .

Same thing with what I feed Gracie. Less fillers, so I feed less, and less poop. The bag seems expensive but it lasts a lot longer. And it doesn't stink!
