Well, Meg is a horn dog. I have been feeding their babies for less then a week and they have yet another huge bunch of eggs. The babies I took all died except 2 . I put those 2 in with my 3 from the batch before. I feel really bad they all died and I am planning on letting the parents care for them this time. For a little while anyway. I think the food is to blame. I think its too large for their little mouths.

Well, I'm having a better day today. My arm is trying to cramp again but I'm resisting. Doing some stretches and staying active. Wasn't easy but I was determined to bake bread today. This is not sourdough, it's just regular yeast bread. Came close to overproofing it. Brushed it with an egg wash before baking to give it a golden crust, then finished it with a melted butter to give it a shine.
