Granny's gone and done it again

I was about ready to cull 7 or 8 roosters tonight while feeding. Little rat ********! They are thinking spring is here and giving me a preview. The bachelors are being ridiculous, meanwhile in the main coop, four of the young OEGB cockerels from last summer's hatch are just acting like tards. If I hold my hand out to pet one of them they try to mount my hand. All the while one of the little BBR pullets is standing next to my hand squatting for them but they are ignoring her because my hand looks like a hen to them. Can you say HELLLLOOOOOO! One of the SDW pullets has half the feathers pulled off her neck from the over amorous foursomes attentions. At least they recognize her as a female chicken over my hand.....

I'm sure that when the cold weather returns tomorrow late they will settle down again but in the meantime I'm going to have to make some plans for spring and get my spare coop cleaned out the rest of the way so I can shuffle the bachelors there and get the bantams into a room all their own for awhile..

Meanwhile I was wondering where my tomahawk is.....
Cracking me up. around here we call them fish turds . Like in Bass hahaaa I would of so wrung his neck. hahaaa

Don't feel bad Granny, I'm starting to rationalize my cookie intake. Such as...If I eat 3 cookies and give up potatoes for dinner along with bread and icecream will that balance out the overindulgence of the Christmas cookies?

Gaaaaah and I have 3 days till Christmas Eve. I foresee returning to my diet regimen on Dec 26. :hit

But at least so far my gorking myself out on sugar hasn't caused an increase in joint pain.....yet.

I got three eggs today. Two bantam and one from my confused brown layer. My Ameraucana hen laid three pretty Blue Green eggs for me and then turned off the faucet again.
I got about 200 eggs today . snicker
