My sis said that the first stage can last about 3 weeks and it is rare to be able to diagnose during this stage since the dog hasn't built an immune response to the ehrlichia bacteria. I'm waiting to see if his symptoms match before going to the vet.I am so sorry to hear this. Has he seen a vet for it?
