When I lived in Sun City, AZ, the parks dept trimmed fig trees in the golf course and parks near us. The branches were laden with fruit. Anyone could come and harvest the figs. They were yummy! People with citrus trees would fill bags with fruit and set them at the end of their sidewalks; anyone could come by and take them. We put bags and bags of lemons out. We'd also take them to lical restaurants, who were happy to take them.

Twist takes his peewee eggs to the womans shelter. That melted my heart.
