Chicks grow fast but I'm always blown away by how quickly quail chicks grow.

For the first couple weeks, they seem to double their size every day.

Wonder if Granny is alright. Last I heard, she had to go to the store and was in lots of pain.

So after I got back home today, I started work on the new coop again. Really need to finish it up. Sadly , it's supposed to rain tomorrow. But I did put one end on the coop. I made it mostly out of lawn tractor packing crates. Also cut and put on more plywood, made a window frame and made a spot to have a clean out door on the end I framed in today. Did a bit of painting on the raw wood. I think it would have been less complicated if I just used 2x4s. But it is interesting. I didn't have my phone with me, so no photos today.
