Its not on the fish. Its the lighting system. It coats the side of the glass and every thing I put in there. I have tried doing a black out and I cant even scrub the algae off . Its frustrating. How do you keep the fish from 37 tank from bringing algae into the hypothetical 50 tank?
Okgonna try and explain something and I would like yalls advice. Gimme a min.
Maybe. Easier yes. probably more money. I seen the 50 at goodwill $50. no lid . nothing but the tank. I never find lids/lights except I bought that 4ft light for the 75 gal. outside . I have decided I dont trust it enough to use it. the 50 would also use the 4ft light.Wouldn't it be easier to get a new light rather than a whole new set up?
What does the algae have to do with it?Between mine and Toms chair is a 37 gal. tank I cant keep algae out of it. On my dresser is a 20 gal. I was thinking if I got a 50 gallon tank and swapped it for the 20 on the dresser I could then take the fish out of the 37 gal. and take that tank down. The fish would fit in the 50 with the ones in the 20.
Then I have a 40 gal. I really like where I cant see it so I could put that tank between our chairs and see it all the time.
This would be getting rid of one tank OR just my OCD making excuses ?
LOL remember that would give me one less tank. I know I have OCD. Hell, I take med. for it but is that what this is ? Or doees it make sense ?So, I think the answer to your question is... yes! You do have OCD!![]()
