I just got an old brooder from an old friend that used to keep hundreds of birds. It is an 8x3... huge! It needs some cleaning and new bulbs.

Me too, I had started on clearing out this useless cabinet in my kitchen but only got as far as clearing it out. I need to scrub it and get rid of stuff.

Back when I had almost a hundred I was selling and hatching plenty to have a full time income. I miss that Maybe I will set a bunch this spring if I can find a ton of local eggs.
