I think Friday I’ll see if the vet can squeeze us in just to borrow their scale. He’s growing so fast!!!

Did New Years in the desert. Was good. Busy, but good. I can’t remember if I told you guys about the oma, my dads mom has been in the hospital with a broken neckbone, diabetes issues, kidney problems and a mystery infection...well. She’s not too happy with being in the hospital but is doing Much better, I ended up doing a quick FaceTime with her while I was at work (joys of dad’s visiting hours, my work hours, and three hours time difference lol) of course boss lady was gone when the call began (I went into her office for some privacy while I did that) and they got back when I was still talking (was only a fifteen minute convo but still lol)
Will need to have another convo with the father/sibling soon, last checked dad was in the dark/having troubles getting answers or communications from the hospital. View attachment 2476269

story behind this heartwarming pic. This is a friend of ours’ kid.Out at the desert the kids sometimes get overwhelmed, overtired, overstimulated and sometimes just get fully over it. We were doing a “moms only” golf cart ride around the property and she tracked us down, crying and melting down cause the other younger kids wouldn’t leave her alone. Low and behold there was the pack of kids following. So I asked her if she wanted to come hang out in my motorhome for a bit for a break and I had some books to read for some quiet time..so back we rode to camp with her in my lap and we went, read an Amelia bedilia book and goose just snuggled right up and there was only one or two instances of “goose don’t eat my hand/the book). When she finished the book she handed it back to me, said I think I’ll go play with my friends now and off she ran. Was sweet.
Work continues to be crazy and goose is in full itchy teeth mode. He got a hold of hubs’ PlayStation headset...so he’s gotta order replacement ear pads for that.

I hate the way my days are right now though with night falling so fast. Goose needs a walk but he gets distracted/concerned with other barking dogs if we try to do a walk around the neighborhood and I don’t have enough time to go take him out to an actual trail somewhere.
I want to get him a new collar soon too. His current collar maxes out at 14” and is...well. It’s maxed out. I’m debating getting him a martingale style collar next - but the size range from the collar people I like it’s 15-19” or 18-25. Sooo...sigh. Debating. They’re not cheap...

Oh, Star, I loved this! I still love Goose's sweet, intelligent face! I love him listening to the amelia Bedelia story and calming your little girl down (I am stongly of the conviction that ALL dogs are service animals/ therapy dogs!), getting her back on track! I'm glad you got to FT with your MIL. Thanks for sharing all that with us! ❤

Well it’s not mil, she’s my oma, so my dad’s mom. And goose now that he’s getting out of the complete donkey phase, he’s growing into quite a snuggler (I’m in trouble when he’s full grown lol)

so how has everyone been? I’m getting another update from the sibling so back in a bit.

Im ok, rough day today and same ol pain.
Tom asked me to take him out tomorrow. Been a while since he has been out of the house. No idea where he wants to go.
