Granny's gone and done it again

15 min. nap ? JUst long enough to keep you awake.
Terrible night last night. Didn't get much sleep at all. I'm trying to stay awake for another hour in hopes of sleeping straight through. It's a struggle!

Good morning. Big winds and another sleepless night. I heard some ominous sounds, but it's still too dark to see. Front porch light and a peek out the window showed damage to the canopy over #1's car. Thank goodness the car looks okay. And I hear the first garbage truck of the morning so roads are open, at least around here. Trees down and some fires happened in a couple spots. And we still have power. Yay! Weirdly warm temps again today... good for laundry. On no. I had laundry out on the line last night. Hope nothing embarrassing lands in someone's yard!

Thanks Pert. I think we got lucky. The poles came off their anchors and one rubbed up against the driver's door. It will probably rub out. #1 moved the car to a safer spot. We'll fix the canopy when the wind dies down.

Very glad the canopy got blown under the fallen ridge pole. Saved the car from a lot of damage.

Tarp came loose on a coop too. Just one side, easy fix. And all my laundry is still on the line! :D Grateful it wasn't worse.
