I know Blue is recovering. Sure hope Verna is okay and the others too, who have been MIA.
I went to go pick up my new glasses, but they weren't made right, so got sent back to be fixed. They weren't cheap either for such shoddy work. Also, my prescription changed and they are correcting for a minor astigmatism. Terrible! Everything that isn't directly in the middle is all distorted. Supposedly just need time to get used to them. Great... I can feel the headache starting...

On the bright side, I found the first Calif strawberries of the season! Whatever variety it is, the berries are always so good this time of year. They are large and not too sweet, not too tart, with lots of strawberrilicious flavor. I'm in carb heaven!

Kids and hubs have astigmatism. No problem with correction, even with contacts. It's new for me, so my brain has to adapt to the correction... or I can choose to not correct it, but my vision will stay a bit blurry.
