Granny's gone and done it again

Love Great Danes just don't want to own a dog you saddle up to take/ride outside.
Elsa was on the small side for a Dane. Tallest dog we had, but not the heaviest. She had natural ears too... lovely soft silky ears.
She had a horrible history. People renting a farm abandoned her and a bunch of other animals, left them to die. She had been tied out under a tree and someone cut her loose sometime before animal control got there... starving cows, a horse, other animals, 2 German Shepherds had to be shot. They had been locked in a shed.
Several months after that, a walking skeleton showed up at our place. She only had one eye, cancerous tumors on her face, and a messed up shoulder from where some jerk used a shotgun on her for being in his field. Such a gentle dog. She wouldn't have killed them. Anyway, the vet basically told my mom good luck, he would have put her down, but mom cooked and coddled her and she lived a good long life. If I could have any of our dogs back, it would be Elsa.

Hi Granny. I was just thinking, last time you complained of feeling tired and lethargic, I think you'd been having a series of MIs, hadn't you?
the heart dr already told me I will continue to keep having them and I honestly think I had a small one last week sometime. I didnt see the point of going to the hospital.
