Cap, I wouldnt toss those eggs just yet. Give them a chance after they warm up good then candle them. Sometimes they will hatch just a couple days late.

I really doubt they could go that long, we still don't have power.

Its just an arm chair with a hole in it for the babies to pass through. My GM time a neighbor man was called in and the woman would sit in his lap. I guess they were too poor for the chair. Then the husband would grab the baby.

Thanks, 3 incubators of eggs shot. So far the chicks are still alive. When they start yelling, I wrap them in a hand towel and put them on my chest inside my shirt. I guess one of the cats found a chick that escaped, brought it over to Daryl and dropped it on his foot! Not damaged at all that I can see.

What a bummer. Cant you hook it up to a generator?

Sitting up or squatting would probably be a lot easier for everyone as long as there is someone to help.
Laying on your back is only for the doctor's convenience and laying on your back with your legs up is just plain stupid. And women OBGs are just a s bad as men, UNLESS they have gone through the process themselves. Midwife is better.
