Well, my DD and SIL indeed have no water or power. So are they going to spend the night at a warming center? No. They are going to sleep in their CAR. It's 32 degrees out, or was at 8 pm. They'll be fine, SIL says, who had a stroke a few months ago. What could go wrong?

Blue, I dont blame them. I rather stay in my car too. Mostly homeless go to those places. Not that their bad people , Im sure there not but I would feel safer in my car.

Texas has its own power grid, and the whole thing is down. I don't know how the warming centers are being lit and heated, generators possibly. There may be some homeless folks there, but there are a lot of people just like my kids, people with homes but no power, no water, no heat. And life-threatening cold.
