LENTEN REGULATIONS for all Catholics are as follows: Catholics who have celebrated their 14th birthday are to abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday, all Fridays in Lent and Good Friday. In addition to abstaining from meat, Catholics who have celebrated their 18th birthday, until they celebrate their 59th birthday, are to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Those who are bound to this regulation may eat only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted if necessary to maintain strength according to one’s needs, but eating solid foods between meals is not permitted.

LMAO then I guess you get to suffer longer. I plan on doing it for as many years as I can.

Honestly its the no "grazing" the entire day that gets me.

some remain seated the entire time others do the 1/2 kneel the entire time BUT a lot of them are upping and downing just like the rest of us.

The Stations of the Cross

or the Way of the Cross, also known as the Way of Sorrows or the Via Crucis, refers to a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers. The stations grew out of imitations of Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem which is believed to be the actual path Jesus walked to Mount Calvary. The objective of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ. It has become one of the most popular devotions and the stations can be found in many Western Christian churches.

Did I tell you about the year the Hispanics acted out the whole cruxifiction. It was so moving. Not sure how they pulled it off but the did it all. Even put the men up on the big crosses. THe whole town acted it out. It was quite a production.

Only thing I ever heard bad was the lead pipes causing brain damage in our babies .
