Doing pretty good. Glad to be able to stand for longer periods which means I can play in my kitchen again, lol. It's my happy place! Tried to do fried chicken in the Fry Daddy the other night, that didn't go well. It gets too hot. The outside was almost black before the middle got done. Fortunately The Man thought it was delicious!
He never complains, I love him! Will start PT on the foot soon. Lots of driving, blah.
Fry Daddy is a little electric appliance like a bucket you plug in, put oil in it, it gets real hot and you can fry stuff in it. Works great for fish. This was the first time I tried chicken strips in it. They were probably too thick. Ya know, our attitudes toward the kitchen probably reflect our men's attitude toward our efforts. My XH was like your Tom and I could not get very enthused about cooking for him either. Who wants to try when they just get criticized all the time? I would probably (now) just cook for myself and tell him he can eat whatever he can catch.

Oh that sounds so good. I've been wanting to get and cook one so I can make a Reuben sandwich. Thanks for reminding me. The Man goes grocery shopping tomorrow, I'll put a brisket on the list. Close enough to St. Patrick's day!
