Granny's gone and done it again

My pony was a surprise birthday gift, from my children, 5 years ago. He is now 20 years old. He used to be a schooling horse so some people mistakenly think he must be very good. In fact he has acquired lots of tricks to scare children into never wanting to ride him again.
My daughter and I do ride together but haven't since the fall. I'm too old to enjoy riding in the cold.
With the lack of exercise, and his winter coat, he is almost as wide as he is tall. His picture has him dressed in his Ducks and Daisies rain sheet. I think I like it better than he does.

Nice gift ! I love the coat for him. LOL When will your spring come ?

March weather can be pretty iffy here. Might have a warm spell followed by another dump of snow. By April I can be fairly sure of warming weather. The 'rule' here is not to plant before the May long weekend which is May 24th this year. Just in time for the pesky no-see-ums to be followed by mosquitoes and deer flies.
Not exactly selling the place as a destination am I?
