Last evening I had settled down with a glass of wine and Netflix. Sudden area wide power failure at 9:30pm. Too early for bed but not many options. Came back on at 3:45am just long enough to wake me up by the lights I forgot to turn off. Seems ok this morning.
So today's list has been modified to: 1. change list, 2. Catch up with byc. 3. reset clocks. 4. cross off above items from list
That sound like enough for one day.

we had wicked wind all night-- was alone in house with dog. Hubby in hospital, everything off-kilter! sleepless night worrying about him, wind, keeping woodstove going

Morning, all. Gonna be a nice enough day today to let the fire go out, I think. Might even get up to 50, sun shining, winds calm. Tomorrow supposed to be nice, too. Then I think we get the cold and wet again but we won't think about that!

Don't see Granny yet, hope she is sleeping in.
