Some states you can give your own but not many. And that is the only shot I gave after the puppy shots. They do last for a lifetime.

My friend Sarah is having surgery on her hand today again for cancer. Hope they get all of it.

I hope they get it all and good luck to her. So hard to go through that.

Morning, I found a vet that will just give the shot. Appt. Monday $14.00 a dog.

That’s illegal in this state. They have to give an exam if they haven’t seen the animal in the current year.. my vet tried to make it cheaper fro us but she got in trouble with the state.

It's been 40 yrs for me. I remember nada. Muy poco.

I am of Hispanic extraction. I can count to ten and say this: No habla español. Habla me in ingles, por favor. That's it. ("I do not speak Spanish. Speak to me in English, please.") I never understood why this inevitably unleashed a torrent of Spanish in my direction until my dad explained, You say it too well. They don't believe you!

I have heard that they do, but if my dog bites somebody and I don't have proof that she had a rabies shot in the last 12 months, I can get into serious legal trouble, can't I?
