Granny's gone and done it again

At what age will they actually pick them up?

depends on how the pups are doing and if mom has them weaned and they are eating and pooing good. so 7 1/2 to 10 weeks old. So like the weekend after Easter. Will call and set up vet appointment for their health check and first round of puppy shots for right after Easter.

That's great. Maybe the only positive thing about covid... people want puppies!

and for the $1400. check most are getting they can afford one. The guy coming from Idaho just had to put his old springer down. The family tomorrow night need one for their 10 year old as he has 'no one " to snuggle with his little sister and his parents both do.

That worries me, though. What will happen to these dogs when people go back to work?

ND didn't shut down that extreme. the idaho guy is self employed , and the local is retired, bismarck couple have 2 dogs now.

Twist, how many litters do you usually raise a year?

I try for a litter every other year or so. Sometime's that doesn't work. Abby was a slut and was "having her way" with poor Yuri when he was 6 months old. And the male before that it got so bad when she came down the hallway towards him , he would roll over and start crying/whimpering at 3 months.

oh I didn't mean your puppies specifically. I meant all over the country. SOOO many people got puppies and chickens and whatnot bc of covid, but what will happen to those animals when the pandemic is over and their normal lives and routines resume?
