My ex-husband use to say the same until he had my "beef" stew. We never told him he had venison and he swore for years he could taste the difference.

Not that I normally trick people but he showed up unannounced/uninvited and helped himself. My husband and I both looked at each other as he was exclaiming it was the best beef stew I ever made. Our children were little (all under 7 yrs) and they even managed to not tell my ex...

LOL Yeah well The first time I had venison the people lied and said it was beef. My aunt Gracie it was beef. I got all the kids all upset and we ended up with PIZZA cause not one child would eat it after I told them it was Bambi's Dad. lol
