My poodle search is torn between blowing off the size and getting a dog from Alue, getting a dog from Noir, getting a dog from tri star, or ditching poodles and getting a sheltie or a boykin spaniel

How does your current dog feel about adding another dog to the mix?

oh yeah, and deacon would kill a puppy if he got loose with one (and since I live with young children, that's likely to happen )

Plus deacons a senior and I'd feel bad stressing him out with a dog since he hates them so much. When I move out I will not take him (can't bring him to college), and by the time I graduate he'll likely no longer be around

leaving the house in three years, now is not the right time to raise a puppy. I'm busy.. I'll be a senior next year, then in community college. I don't see time to properly raise a puppy at this time

Lol, Granny, I accidentally posted this in a wrong thread. Here you go, here's what transpired in my torture chamber this evening:

So today I made a chuck roast in the crock pot, and it was the best I ever made. Soooo tender! I dredged it in seasoned flour and browned it in oil in my cast-iron skillet first. I put the veggies (carrots, onions, little potatoes) in the pot first with beef broth, with the meat on top, so it didn't cook in liquid. Amazing! I've been cooking these things wrong my whole life. I also found directions for making gravy from the pan drippings. Oh. My. Lands. We ate hours ago and I still feel stuffed.
