Alberta is a beautiful place. Sadly, adulting is the death of all your childhood dreams. I enjoyed the photo work, but I'm not good enough to make even a side hustle out of it. And now, that camera has been acting up and needing replacement for YEARS, but too many other things are requiring my money.

This is what I lived for. Back when I was in high school/before moving out to Alberta, I'd slum around with my friends' bands and do photo work for them. Freaking loved it. This...this gig right here was actually a band called Econoline Crush that I listened to lots in the high school days (actually were a pretty big time band...these were NOT my high school boys lol) and they played at my college in Calgary. Took these shots...kinda reminded me of my love. had a blast... I wasn't working that show for anyone but me but...

Haven't been able to do the band work since I'm out of the scene now, I don't really feel the support from the hubs to follow this either. I suggested once that we upgrade my camera so I can do some photo work of his offroading...did that when he did jump champs all those years ago. He got offended I'd even suggest it....there's already so many photo people out there....and iphones take good enough pictures. sigh.

Snack of strawberries right before bed...why...cause they're too good to go to waste lol.

I love shot #4 in that first set. You really captured the joy in that singer's face. Can tell he loves the music, singing, the crowd, the gig! So cool! Great shot.
