she got out the other day, it started raining, and .2 seconds later, there was a meow at the door. I would of thought she'd come back, since its so cold, the same as she did when it was raining. Guess not

She may have found a warm dry place and is waiting for a good opportunity to come home.

I have a theory that though cats can tolerate each one under the same roof, they prefer to be the only cat in the house. If they've found another home that offers that and are happy with the new slaves (aka. adopters), they will happily abandon you.
