When I was younger I had bettas in a non heated tank, but now that I think of it, they where always dull and sluggish. I want to do good with petra

Why is it called Hummingbird cake?

My gramma used to make Jello cake, a sheet cake with a pack of orange jello added to the mix. Lemon juice and powdered sugar for a glaze and you poke holes all over to get the icing down deep. Like a hummingbird had been stabbing it! Anyway, your cake brought back a good memory.

Other posters said it's bc it's very sweet, they think. Have not tasted it yet so I don't know.

25 watts and my friend dont heat hers at all. She has had her betta for months now.

I told them it wasnt healthy for them to be breathing that It was super strong. They said they tried bleach down the hole.

Bleach + ammonia (from sewage) probably not a great idea. Toxic fumes.

Kills slugs. They smell like bacon.
