Granny's gone and done it again

I didn't hate them that much until I had to put roof insulation and found a plague full of rodent droppings everywhere in the the roof space and two dead mice. It was really disgusting.

We had unprecedented rain this summer after a 7 year drought and the rodent population skyrocketed. Everybody were having problems with rodents. My neighbor told me she went over one morning at about 9am to the local hardware store to get mouse traps and they were sold out and they only just put them out that morning.

My GKs found a nest once and put them in one of my brooders and when they went home I fed the pinkies to the chickens.

YUMMY!!

We threw a load of old mulch into the run a couple of days ago and my chookies found a well-rotted mouse. Grose! I managed to snatch it off from them before they could eat it...
