whats a caper?

Some kind of flower bud, pickled. They taste like green olives.

UPDATE on Vicki's great-grandson. He is off the ventalator/respirator BUT still in infant ICU. "THEY" won't let mom see him yet. Strange they are both positive so where is the harm. Granddaughter is off oxygen as well now.

Thats ok, I know once it goes on its not coming off . I dont know if thats a good thing or not.

OH you can always get the nut off it just might require a saw blade or blow torch

Capers are little bitty round things about an eighth of an inch across and dark green. I'd never had them before. I didn't put many on because they do have a strong flavor but I liked them.
