yep just cut the nylon just below the knot above the number of onions you want/need.

also the basement fridge works pretty good as well.

OH helpful hint

when your kitchen sink scrubby/scratchy gets stinky, throw in the the dishwasher for a cycle. Comes out clean and not smelling "off/skunky" I put mine in the silverwear section and slap the lid down on it.
