I cut brush where the new bantam polish coop will go. Bugs biting, damn mosquitoes. Deep woods off, to the rescue. Rolled logs out of the way, and found thw wire for the bottom of the coop frame. And loaded the compressor on the Mule. Need hubby to help me load the plywood on the Mule , for the back of the coop.

Any idea what might have happened?

Probably one of the layer hens got him through the chicken wire. I usually keep a second ring of wire around the ground cage, about 6" away, to prevent contact. I got lazy since the mob hadn't been interested in the Seramas in months. I'll fix it before they go out again. They spent a quiet day in the garage.

Poor guy hasn't regrown his tail feathers yet so he's not at his best.
