Ah. My kid goes half a day Monday then that's it.

I tell my kids I don't care what their grades are, and I really don't. I care about two things: that they show up, and that they do their best. By show up I mean they turn in their assignments on time. By doing their best I mean, if they need help, ask for it. That's what the teachers are there for. To teach! And that's all. If they do those 2 things i'm happy with whatever grade they get.

My daughter (first batch) should have gotten all A's. She was brilliant! But it came so easy for her, she slacked. Didn't turn in asignments. Got C's. What a waste. Her brother, not as bright, struggled. Got A's because he worked his tail off for them.

GirlChild, worked HARD. Smart kid but had learning issues. Mostly C's. I was proud of hr bc I knew how hard she worked for those C's.

Her little bro gets mostly A's. He's bright AND works hard. Turns in his work. Doing it right. I have hope for him.
