Sorry I missed you Twist. Looking for a couple of chickens that are hiding in the barnyard. I have a Gold laced polish in the barn that I thought was a pullet. Then she stretched out and grew pointy feathers, so I figured must be a cockerel. Guess what? She laid her first egg today! Gotta love it!

My EEs did that 2 years ago. Every other day, I couldn't decide what they were bc of those pointy hackle feathers! Then four of them put on beautiful robes and started crowing. And chasing the poor girls! Ah, what lovely dumplings they made ...
